Mikki M.A. Shepard has been in the real estate industry since 1979. Prior to real estate, she served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a B.A. in Art History.
Mikki holds the CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) and the LTG (Leadership Training Graduate) Designations. She was a speaker for the National Association of REALTORS for 8 years, as well as, various state and local associations focusing on the topics of ‘Open Your Hearts to Open Houses’ and ‘Your Winning Edge: Image’. She has held too many local and national committee appointments and chairmanships to mention and was the 1990 President of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS, Governor of the State Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS as well as Woman of the Year for both the state and local chapters.
Mikki has been named in 13 different editions of ‘Who’s Who’ including Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who of Rising Young Entrepreneurs, and Who’s Who of America.
She has been a featured author of Real Estate Today (now called REALTOR Magazine), Communiqué’, and various periodicals and newspapers.
Returning to New York so her son could grow up around family and experience the day to day experiences of the country and the nearness of family, she has earned her associate broker’s license and is currently publishing a local edition of America’s Trade Journal for the Real Estate Professional, BROKER AGENT Magazine in the Greater Hudson Valley.
She is a founding member and currently serving as the Membership VP for the Greater Hudson Valley Chapter of Women's Council of REALTORS. She has been involved in the annual Make A Wish Fundraiser put on by the Orange County Association of REALTORS and is currently a committee member. She served as the Exhibitor Coordinator for the Orange & Rockland Annual REALTOR Convention.
